This one-day workshop will instruct users in advanced features of the MCNPX-PoliMi code. Workshop registration fees are $50 to cover hosting.
Topics to be covered:
- MCNPX-PoliMi introduction
- MCNPX-PoliMi source capabilities
- Implementation of the FREYA fission model
- Photonuclear physics capabilities
- Variance reduction for photonuclear interrogation
Laptops are not required, however, participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop to run examples shown by the instructors. Computer equipment is not provided.
