Bio

Prof. Al Hero is the R. Jamison and Betty Williams Professor of Engineering, served on the Board of Directors of the IEEE as Director of the Signals and Applications Division, and was awarded the Digiteo Chaire d’Excellence at the Ecole Superieure d’Electricite, France. His recent research activities are in statistical signal processing, machine learning and the analysis of high dimensional spatio-temporal data
