Bio
Mr. Bourne started his Ph.D research with DNNG in January 2012. He has previously performed research on PNAR/DDSI coincidence counting systems and waste characterization at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). His thesis research is focused on characterizing newly-developed scintillators for their use as handhelds in homeland security applications, focusing on PSD-capable plastic and stilbene scintillators. He expects to finish his degree in June 2015.
