Drew Buys

Bio

Drew Buys is a Masters of International Public Affairs at the La Follette School at University of Wisconsin-Madison focusing on Russia, the former Soviet Union and the Middle East. His undergraduate degrees were in Russian and Arabic. Since he came to grad school, he has focused partly on security and partly on development. His CVT work is focused on modeling the technical and policy implications of the Iran nuclear deal. He also works with the International Rescue Committee through a group project for class to do a cost-benefit analysis on economic development programs for Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
