Bio

Ciara Sivels received the B.S. degree in Nuclear Science and Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2013. She is a NERS doctoral student at the University of Michigan in Professor K. J. Kearfott’s group. Her research interests generally include nonproliferation and nuclear forensics techniques. Through the GEM fellowship she has interned at PNNL working on projects focused on treaty verification using beta-gamma coincidence detectors.
