Master’s Student- Nuclear Engineering and Radiation Health Physics at Oregon State University B.S.E. Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences at the University of Michigan, USA, 2013
Steven worked with the Detection for Nuclear Nonproliferation Group
(DNNG) at the University of Michigan in 2013-2014. His primary focus was on organic scintillators coupled to silicon photomultipliers for application in pulse shape discrimination, as well as simulation work for a small scale single crystal neutron camera.
Steven is currently involved in the Radiation Detection and Dosimetry Group at Oregon State University, where he is focused on the development of a new CZT-based radioxenon detection system. Other research interests include novel methods to locate and characterize unknown radiation sources.
