Bio

Michael Hamel is a fourth year graduate student in Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences. He has worked with DNNG since Fall 2009 on the development of a radiation imaging system.  His current research includes the design and implementation of a dual-particle imager for safeguard applications. Michael is also interested in nuclear safeguards and security policy. In 2014 he received the Michigan College of Engineering Sandia National Laboratory Fellowship.
