Bio
Crystal Green, a Georgia native, received the B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering from South Carolina State University in 2014. She is a NERS doctoral student working in Professor Sara Pozzi’s group in the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences, at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Her research interests generally include health and medical physics, specifically in the area of external beam dosimetry. Her graduate research involves the development of chain-of-custody detectors for nuclear materials using integrating optically stimulated luminescence. She enjoys shopping, ballet, and reading.
